About Dr. Salehi

General dentist Shiva Salehi, DDS, brings expert care to patients at Madison Family Dental Group in Fair Oaks, California. 

Dr. Salehi actually began her career in computer science. Shortly after graduating from King’s College in London, she realized that when working on computers, she missed working with people. She also learned that she enjoyed working with her hands—an opportunity that was unavailable in her computer science career. So when she relocated to her hometown in Northern California, Dr. Salehi decided to shift her career and attend dental school.

After completing her medical pre-requisites at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California, and an internship at Stanford University studying blood disorders, Dr. Salehi moved on to the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. After graduation, Dr. Salehi returned to the university to teach, and she continues to serve as a part-time faculty member today.

At Madison Family Dental Group, Dr. Salehi takes pride in her provider-patient relationships. One of the most rewarding aspects of her profession is helping patients regain functional teeth and smiles by installing crowns and bridges. Patients with dental anxiety also appreciate Dr. Salehi’s pain-free work and gentle touch.
